Job Description & RequirementsLocation: Grafton, WI \nFacility Type: Acute Care | Level III Trauma Center | Level II NICU\nShift: Nights – 3x12 Hours (19:00 – 07:30)\nContract Type: Travel – Not accepting first-time travelers\nCompact License: Accepted by all Swedish facilities\nPerm Eligibility: Perm staff from other Providence facilities (non-Swedish) must have a 3-month separation to be eligible\n\n🧒 Patient Population\n\nLevel II NICU\n\nUnstable newborns ≥32 weeks gestation\n\nCouplet Care\n\nTransition Nursery\n\nGYN surgery patients\n\nAttends all deliveries and high-risk deliveries\n\n🛠 Common Procedures & Responsibilities\n\nResuscitation/Support at Birth\n\nCPAP / BiPAP\n\nChest tube setup and care\n\nBreathing treatments\n\nPICC and central line management\n\nSyringe pumps\n\nFeeding tubes\n\nSedation & RSI (Rapid Sequence Intubation)\n\nCooling/Warming blankets\n\nDrains\n\n 👥 Staffing\n\nRN-to-Patient Ratio: 1:3\n\nSupport Team Includes:\n\nCharge nurse (may take assignment)\n\n24/7 NNP\n\nOB 24/7 (in-house or on- call)\n\nAnesthesiologist 24/7\n\nRT, phlebotomy, no tele tech\n\nNo unit secretary\n\n🔁 Floating Expectations\n\nMay float to:\n\nPostpartum\n\nLabor & Delivery\n\n📋 Certifications Required\n\nBLS (AHA)\n\nNRP\n\n💻 Charting & Equipment\n\nEMR: EPIC\n\nInfusion Pumps: Alaris\n\nMed Dispensing: Pyxis\n\n📅 Other Job Logistics\n\nOrientation: 1 shift on the unit\n\nTime Off: Up to 7 days (pre-approved)\n\nCall: Varies\n\nWeekends/Holidays: Not specified\n\nScrub Color: Procedural\n\nFirst -Time Travelers: Not accepted
