Droplet Measurement Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of ENVEA Global, designs and manufactures world-leading scientific instrumentation for measuring cloud particles, aerosols, and precipitation. Our products are used by atmospheric researchers, climate scientists, and environmental agencies worldwide to better understand the atmosphere and improve weather and climate models. As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting accurate, compliant, and timely financial reporting. You will interface with various teams and be expected to pivot when priorities shift while being responsible for general ledger accounting, month-end close activities, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Responsibilities : Assist in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Perform general ledger reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies. Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and accruals. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and variance analyses. Step into AP/AR activities when needed to support team goals. Manage cash flow and working capital. Assist in financial audits, including the preparation of audit schedules, responding to auditor inquiries, and ensuring GAAP compliance. Help maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes. Support intercompany reconciliations within ENVEA and California Analytical Instruments (CAI). Budget and forecasting responsibilities. Conduct ad hoc analysis and reporting. Qualifications : ~ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. ~3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. ~ Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles. ~ Proficient with ERP systems (e.g., SAGE, SAP, or similar) and financial reporting tools (LucaNet preferred). ~ High personal accountability, adaptability, and team-first mentality ~ Comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. ~ CPA is a plus.
