Overview Alpha Paving Industriesis currently taking applications for a full-time Striping Foreman to join our striping team. We are searching for candidates that are great leaders, punctual, dependable, team oriented, safety conscious, and hard working. A Striping Foreman is responsible for overseeing all aspects of a the striping crew on a construction project, including supervising workers, ensuring quality standards are met, managing equipment, scheduling tasks, and maintaining safety protocols while striping parking lots, or other surfaces, often working closely with project managers to meet project deadlines and specifications.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities: - Navigate to and from job sites using maps and/or GPS
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and maps in English
- Load and unload up to 100 pounds of equipment or supplies onto trucks/trailers
- Ability to utilize striping equipment and machinery
- Aptitude to accurately utilize basic arithmetic calculations
- Layout and stripe parking lots according to assigned plans
- Prepare and install thermoplastic striping and paint with high quality results
- Prepare and install roadway signage per plan guidelines
- Perform other work or duties as assigned
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies
Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Previous experience with striping in asphalt paving or highway construction
- Mobility required to sit, stand, walk, climb, reach and lift
- Ability to work outdoors in variable temperatures and weather conditions
- Available to work days, nights, and weekends
- Must pass criminal background check and drug screen
- Valid driver's license
