Job Title: Stand Up Forklift Operator
Job Description
The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating stand‑up forklifts, moving inventory throughout the warehouse, and supporting daily material flow. This role requires strong scanning accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
Responsibilities
Operate stand‑up electric forklifts for the majority of the shift (80%+).
Use sit‑down forklifts as needed for loading and unloading trucks.
Move pallets, stage materials, and support inbound/outbound operations.
Work in pairs to move and store incoming pallets.
Use a double forklift to stage pallets in drop zones.
Support reach truck operators who place pallets into assigned warehouse locations.
Use RF scanners immediately upon starting.
Scan all product movements accurately to maintain real‑time inventory visibility.
Follow scanning standards and participate in process audits to ensure accuracy.
Pick assigned orders by scanning work IDs and following system instructions.
Stage materials for outbound shipments or production.
Assist with put away, scanning, and picking as needed.
Provide occasional support for unloading operations.
Essential Skills
3+ years of forklift experience, including stand‑up equipment.
Previous forklift certification.
Strong safety record.
Experience using RF scanners.
Ability to read and write.
Comfortable working in a predominantly Spanish‑speaking environment.
Ability to learn warehouse layout and processes quickly.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
