With a strong focus on safety, precision, and growth, they’re looking to add a Staff Accountant to their team in Spanish Fort, AL.
This role reports directly to the Corporate Controller and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to grow their career in construction or industrial accounting.
&##129534; What You’ll Be Doing:
Participate in monthly close cycles, reconciliations, and ad hoc analysis
Provide analytical support and respond to inquiries from multiple departments
Develop and maintain budgets, comparing actuals vs. forecasts
Review accounts for discrepancies and reconcile charges
Support internal and external audits
Manage fixed assets, including CAPEX cost accumulation and depreciation
Collaborate with Purchasing to ensure accurate coding and posting
Monitor and uphold financial controls, systems, and data integrity
Tackle special projects as directed by leadership

Have a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance and 2+ years of related experience
Bring strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Have working knowledge of job cost and construction accounting
Excel at staying accurate under pressure and managing multiple priorities
Are detail-oriented and proactive, with a knack for organization
