Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A School Psychologist position is available to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Prairieville, LA. This contract role runs through the current school year with the start date set as soon as possible and continues until May 29, 2026. The position requires an educator certification and offers the opportunity to work within East Baton Rouge Parish Schools, serving a yet-to-be-determined caseload and number of schools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments and provide evaluations for students to identify learning and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver evidence-based counseling and interventions addressing academic, social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
• Assist in crisis prevention and response within the school environment
• Facilitate data collection and documentation related to student progress and compliance with district and state regulations
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Educator Certification in School Psychology required
• Experience working with K-12 students preferred, with pay scale reflecting years of experience
• Strong understanding of assessment tools, psychological testing, and intervention strategies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse student populations and school staff
• Ability to manage confidential information and work independently

Location:

• On-site work is required in Prairieville, LA, serving the East Baton Rouge Parish Schools district.

Compensation:

• Salary is based on experience, ranging from $46 to $58 per hour for school psychologists with 0 to over 10 years of experience.
