Psychiatrist – Full-Time, Part-Time, or Locum Tenens
Red Mountain Psychiatry, LLC – Birmingham, AL
Red Mountain Psychiatry, LLC, a rapidly growing and busy private psychiatric practice, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist or DO with psychiatric board certification to join our team. We offer flexible opportunities for full-time, part-time, or locum tenens work depending on your availability.
Position Highlights
Provide comprehensive psychiatric care to patients across the lifespan (child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations).
Direct and collaborate with a team of highly skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners .
Enjoy working in a fast-paced, private practice setting with strong clinical and administrative support.
Opportunity to help shape a growing practice with high incentives and competitive compensation . We WILL allow direct billing of your patients if that is your preferred pay option and you will keep what you earn.
Responsibilities
Conduct psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment.
Provide clinical oversight and direction for psychiatric nurse practitioners.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Requirements
MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited Psychiatry Residency Program.
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
Active or eligible for Alabama medical license.
Strong interpersonal skills, leadership ability, and commitment to patient-centered care.
