Job Title: Electrical Controls Engineer Job Description We are seeking a skilled Electrical Controls Engineer to develop programs for conveyor systems. This role involves working in the field during installations for troubleshooting, as well as collaborating with Engineering teams to develop initial programming. Responsibilities Design schematics and write programs using automation software and ladder logic. Document programs and prepare documentation for the program's intended use and safety instructions. Interact with customers over the phone and troubleshoot issues via phone or email. Engage in hands-on controls systems design, programming, and installation in the field. Essential Skills Proficiency in PLC programming and HMI systems. 4+ years of experience with PLC systems and ladder logic programming. Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent knowledge. Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and software engineering principles. Design skills with program architecture principles to draft blueprints or 3D drawings. Mechanical expertise for technical installation. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with vision systems and electrical design. Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical and machine vision. Experience with Siemens, Contrologix, and industrial electronics. Logical reasoning and problem-solving skills. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
