Under general supervision, accurately & efficiently select products in the warehouse and prepare them for shipping by stacking in an orderly and stable configuration while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Responsibilities include processing boxes using the UPS station, entering shipping information into the UPS system, loading packages onto the UPS truck, operating an electric pallet jack to transport products, handling products carefully to limit damage, reporting any damage to supervisors, performing daily equipment checks, assisting in clean-up of the Supplies on the fly (SOTF) area, signing in and out for equipment use, using basic communication skills to understand work systems and instructions, adhering to GMP, personal hygiene, and SQF policies, and performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications include a high school education or equivalent, six months of prior warehouse experience preferred, ability to use a computer keyboard efficiently, and ability to handle up to 50 lbs. Working conditions include environments with temperatures of 0, 35, 65 degrees and ambient temperatures. General supervision is received from the Day Warehouse Manager or Day Assistant Warehouse Manager.
