Job Description

Position Overview

We’re seeking a Lifecycle Marketing Email Specialist who will lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of our email campaigns throughout the customer journey—from lead to loyal customer. You’ll work across multiple brands and product lines to design follow-up sequences, ideate new campaigns, and continuously refine performance based on data insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute email campaigns across all stages of the customer lifecycle: lead nurture, sales conversion, service reminders, and retention.
  • Partner with sales and marketing teams to understand customer journeys and segment campaigns accordingly.
  • Design and automate email journeys using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or similar email marketing tools such as Marketo).
  • Optimize email campaigns by analyzing source data, A/B test results, and campaign performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with creative and product teams to ensure content is personalized, on-brand, and relevant to each customer segment.
  • Stay up to date with email marketing best practices, privacy laws, and compliance standards.
  • Play a hands-on role in campaign creation—from ideation and writing to QA and performance review.
  • Contribute to the development of a customer lifecycle marketing roadmap, including new tools, data integrations, and growth strategies.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in email marketing , preferably in a B2C environment with multi-touch customer journeys.
  • Recent experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (preferred) or other enterprise-level platforms like Marketo.
  • Track record of working across various industries or multiple products/brands , not limited to niche or highly siloed markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to think both creatively and analytically when building and optimizing email campaigns.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, personable demeanor —you’re the kind of person others want on their team (and maybe even at happy hour or go-kart night).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) tools, especially Lytho .
  • Background in multi-location businesses like dealerships, financial services, or retail.
  • Familiarity with post-sale engagement strategies, including service reminders or up-sell emails.
