Junior DevOps Engineer Orlando, FL (hybrid) Long-term contract to hire $40-$45/hour W2 We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior DevOps Engineer to join our cutting-edge JedAI team in Orlando, FL. This is a hybrid role (on-site required several days a week) with a long-term contract-to-hire opportunity. As a key member of the team, you’ll work cross-functionally to ensure AI models are deployed seamlessly into production environments, minimizing disruptions while proactively identifying and resolving issues related to model performance, scalability, and infrastructure readiness. Key Responsibilities Release Planning & Execution Develop detailed release plans aligned with JedAI Production Readiness phases. Coordinate with product, engineering, and project management teams to meet release timelines. Define and enforce promotion criteria across environments (Latest, Load, Stage, Production). Submit and manage change management requests for all environment deployments. Infrastructure & Platform Readiness Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategies on GCP and Azure using GKE, Cloud SQL, and Apigee. Perform infrastructure gap analysis and support token-based scaling systems (PTU/GSU). Oversee integration of vector databases (e.g., MongoDB with vector search) and support microservices migration. Deployment & Documentation Ensure complete technical documentation (environment setup, integration guides, API references). Automate deployments using GitOps pipelines with support for rollback, feature flags, and blue/green strategies. Drive launch readiness validation including infrastructure, performance, and security. Issue Management Identify risks related to model accuracy, scalability, or reliability before release. Work closely with engineering to resolve issues pre-release and monitor post-release performance. Qualifications Prior experience coordinating software/platform releases in a fast-paced technical environment. Strong understanding of cloud platforms (GCP, Azure), Kubernetes (GKE), and IaC tools (Terraform, etc.). Familiarity with microservices, GitOps workflows, and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent cross-functional communication and organizational skills. Experience working with AI/ML products or platforms is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr Join DevOps
