Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Construction Sales Estimator to join our General Contracting division. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates and bids while coordinating with clients and internal teams to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project specifications and drawings to determine scope and estimate requirements.
• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare estimates using tools like Excel and BuilderTrend software.
• Manage bid solicitation, including document distribution and communication with subcontractors and design teams.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.
• Analyze and review bids to ensure accuracy and alignment with project goals.
• Develop comprehensive scopes of work to support subcontractor bids.
• Present and reconcile estimates with clients and design teams.
• Maintain organized documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or at least three years of related experience in construction estimation or project management.
• Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting construction documents and specifications.
• Familiarity with on-screen takeoff systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Experience

• Expertise in creating renovation and construction scopes of work.
• Familiarity with residential and commercial construction systems and processes.
• Experience with project management tools is a plus.

Salary

The salary for this role includes base plus commission. OTE would put the candidate between $80,000 to $125,000 depending on experience and skill.
