Setting: Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing
We are seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a night-shift contract assignment in a long-term care and skilled rehabilitation setting. The CNA will support residents with daily living activities while contributing to a safe, compassionate, and high-quality care environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including eating, dressing, bathing, toileting, ambulating, and personal care
Take and record vital signs and weights; promptly report changes to the RN/LPN or Charge Nurse
Monitor and document resident intake and output per unit standards or physician orders
Provide skin care and observe for changes in condition
Maintain resident privacy, confidentiality, and dignity at all times
Follow Universal Precautions and infection control policies
Support residents, patients, and families with empathy and effective communication
Assist with resident/family orientation to the unit and facility
Provide additional care as directed by the RN/LPN in accordance with the plan of care
Maintain positive, professional relationships with healthcare team members
Demonstrate flexibility, teamwork, and professionalism in a fast-paced environment
Active state Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license (must be current)
Minimum 3 years of CNA experience , preferably in long-term care or skilled nursing
Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills
Ability to remain calm, objective, and compassionate in challenging situations
Passion for providing excellent care to long-term care and rehabilitation residents
Travelers must reside 50+ miles from the facility
Facility may cancel up to three (3) shifts per 13-week assignment
