• Starting Salary: $13.00/hr + Tips
• Hiring Part-Time & Full-Time (30+hrs/wk)

About Brick Road Coffee

We all travel our own paths in life, laying one brick at a time and taking each turn as it comes. Whatever direction your own Brick Road takes you, some things remain constant. We all hope to find acceptance, community, and maybe a great cup of coffee to warm us on our journey. Two members of the LGBTQ+ Community founded brick Road Coffee with a mission to be more than just a fabulous little coffee shop. We are working hard to create an inclusive LGBTQ+ friendly place where the community gathers, connects and supports each other as we all travel down our own Brick Road.

Everything we do centers around the community and our neighbors, not the bottom line. We can promise that no one at Brick Road Coffee is trying to start a capitalistic journey to fund their childhood dream of being an astronaut. We are trying to do this whole coffee shop thing a little differently at Brick Road Coffee, and that starts with you. We are looking for energetic, outgoing, and creative people to help us build a community. So ask yourself:

Day In The Life of a Brick Road Barista

• Be the warm, welcoming, and friendly face of our coffee shop – greeting each customer and providing exceptional service throughout the entire experience.
• Create authentic moments- share your knowledge of our coffee, company, and the Tempe community with our customers.
• Be a coffee & tea expert. You bring the passion, we provide the training, and you share it with the customers.
• Prepare and serve beverages and food items consistently by adhering to all recipe standards while also delivering exceptional customer service.
• Generate new loyal customers and care for our existing customers.
• Care about safety. Safe, healthy employees and customers are our number one priority.
• Contribute. Take pride in the tidiness of the store, organize stock, innovate new ways to do things. Take the initiative with tasks, ideas and add to the overall success of the store.
