More Gardens! Fund is a community-based organization rooted in arts and education, advocating for the preservation and enhancement of community gardens in New York City and State. We focus on fostering connection, understanding, and joy within communities, with a special emphasis on the voices and experiences of people of color who are often disproportionately impacted by environmental injustices. Our initiatives, such as "Sprouting Justice" in the Lower East Side and "Rise Up! Green the Bronx" in the South Bronx, seek to empower residents to become active agents of change in their neighborhoods. Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Video Documentation and Social Media Summer Intern located in New York, NY. The intern will be responsible for creating video documentation of various events and activities, managing social media accounts, and promoting the organization's initiatives online. Daily tasks include recording and editing video content, drafting social media posts, and engaging with the community both online and offline. This internship is unpaid and offers college credit.
