Teaching Assistant INHLSC 175 Essentials of Nutrition Science. (was PH 175 when this job description was written) Estimated hours per week: Average 9 hours for 15 weeks (change to 7 hours for 15 weeks) Estimated hours per semester: 134 hours (change to 105 hours) Estimated hours per academic year: 268 hours (Change to 210 hours per academic year) Job Duties · Grading of the diet analysis projects throughout the semester. Approximately 43 students will submit assignments weekly. The Teaching Assistant is responsible for grading all 43 averaging approximately 8 hours of grading per week estimating 10 minutes per assignment (approximately 120 hours per semester). · Prepare and teach a 1-2 hour content review session for students before the mid-term exam and final exam. Estimated teaching time per semester is 4 hours. Estimated preparation time 4 hours per review session (approximately 8 hours per semester) · Assist in proctoring Mid-term and Final Exam (approximately 6 hours per semester) Keene State College is located in the scenic Monadnock region of Southwest New Hampshire and is an affiliate of the University System of New Hampshire.
