Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school in Westland, MI is seeking qualified Special Education Teachers for multiple contract positions within a K-12 setting for the current school year.

Openings include:

• 1 Cognitively Impairment Program Teacher
• High School Resource Program Teachers
• 6 Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Teachers

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students unique learning needs.
• Provide tailored instruction and support to students with special education needs.
• Collaborate with general education staff, families, and specialists to promote student progress.
• Monitor student performance and adjust strategies as required.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and communication.

Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification or endorsement in Special Education.
• Appropriate state license for the role.
• Experience working with students who have cognitive impairments, ASD, or requiring resource support is preferred.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Location:Westland, Michigan
