Objective

To support our client's SEO team by streamlining brief creation and content production, ensuring a more efficient workflow and higher quality through dedicated contractor engagement.

Profile overview

We are seeking a highly experienced U.S.-based SEO contractor to serve as a consistent and dedicated partner for producing SEO briefs. The ideal candidate will possess an editorial mindset, a collaborative work style, and a deep understanding of SEO tools and practices.

Scope: 

• 10 hours per week for 6 months
• Available to work in any US time zone

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality SEO briefs in Google Docs based on existing keyword research
• Skilled in leveraging SERP analysis to guide blog and SEO brief creation based on top-ranking content.
• Work closely with our client's SEO and content teams to understand and align with internal documentation and style
• Translate keyword/topic data into actionable, content-rich briefs
• Attend onboarding and review calls as needed to align on feedback and workflow improvements
• Maintain version-controlled documentation for future re-optimization reference
• Leverage tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and others to enhance speed and quality of brief development
• Conduct in-depth research across multiple avenues including competitor analysis, SERP landscape, and keyword data to develop SEO-driven content outlines that are both strategic and creative, providing writers with everything needed to begin drafting immediately

Skills and qualifications

• Strong SEO background with hands-on experience in tools like Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics
• Proven experience in writing and structuring briefs and SEO-driven articles
• Desire to work collaboratively, willing to just hop on a call to discuss vs asynchronous feedback
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail
• Familiarity with construction industry content (preferred but not required)
