Unarmed Security Officers for Corporate Site in Roanoke TX!

Open availability is required.

Pay rate $22.66 hr.

Metro One Loss Prevention Services Group is expanding globally and needs to hire security officers immediately to work in a corporate environment.

WORK SCHEDULES:

• 6:00am - 2:30pm / 2pm - 10:30pm / 10pm - 6:30am
• Flex to permanent.
  
  

DRESS CODE:

• Uniforms will be provided by Metro One.

  DUTIES:

• Monitoring access control and challenging those without proper identification.
• Maintaining the visitor management system, checking visitors, guests.
• Issuing badges and access cards and maintaining security logs.
• Monitoring a CCTV system.
• Vehicle and Foot patrols of the interior and exterior.
• Checking in authorized personnel onsite.
• Working a standing post for 8-hour shifts or longer.
• Ability to interact with the public in a direct and professional manner, strong interpersonal skills.

TO SUCCEED AT METRO ONE:

• Have excellent interpersonal communication skills in customer service.
• High level of awareness, attentiveness, and alertness.
• Ability to de-escalate situations and remain calm in confrontation.
• Capable of standing for long periods of time and exhibiting physical strength.
• Astute observation and detailed notetaking/reporting. 

 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement security (such as Military Police, Security Police, Corrections,) or any support role in a garrison or deployed area of operations).
• Active Texas security guard license.
• Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field.
• Bachelor's degree in protective services, business, or related field.
• A minimum of 4 or more years of active service in any military branch with an honorable, medical, or general discharge.
• Associate degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service.
• 3 years verifiable private/corporate security experience/corporate customer service.
