Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time, contract position for a School Psychologist is available in Gretna, LA, serving K-12 students within the city's public school system. This role offers an opportunity to support a diverse student population with psychological services throughout the academic year.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students K-12.
  • Develop and implement individualized interventions and support plans.
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to promote student success.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Active Louisiana Department of Education certification as a School Psychologist is required.
  • Experience working with K-12 student populations is preferred.
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills.
  • Ability to manage caseloads effectively while collaborating with school personnel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Position Details:

  • Location: Gretna, Louisiana.
  • Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week; Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Hours align with the school calendar.
  • Duration: Contract through 5/22/2026.
  • Caseload and number of schools will be determined based on assignment.
