Job Title: Industrial Sanitation Specialist

Job Description

Join a dynamic team dedicated to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in a food manufacturing environment. As an Industrial Sanitation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all equipment and production areas are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, ready for the next day's operations.

3rd shift Hours:

Monday to Friday

9pm to 5:30am

$22.13/hr

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize floors, equipment, and other necessary areas to prepare for the next day of production.
• Perform deep cleaning of machinery and production lines, ensuring readiness for operation by 5:30am.
• Utilize heavy-duty chemicals for cleaning, adhering to safety protocols and wearing provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including gloves and suits.
• Clean the pipes and components involved in the production line, ensuring thorough sanitation.
• Work within safety guidelines, never cleaning while the machinery is in operation.

Essential Skills

• Experience in industrial chemical sanitation, ideally within a food manufacturing setting.
• Ability to work in a GMP/SOP environment, complying with safety requirements such as wearing hair nets and glasses.
• Capability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Proficiency in working efficiently and maintaining good attendance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning, production, general labor, janitorial tasks, food production, industrial cleaning, sweeping, GMP, sanitation, food manufacturing, and packaging.

Work Environment

Work in a food manufacturing environment that adheres to CGMP and HAACP guidelines. The production floor is not climate-controlled, so it is cold in the winter and hot in the summer. Work boots are required, and employees must comply with CGMP policies, including no jewelry and appropriate hair coverage.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Logan Township, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.13 - $22.13/hr.
