Rehabilitation Coordinator - St Elias Specialty Hospital at Providence Health and Services summary:

The Rehabilitation Coordinator at St Elias Specialty Hospital ensures compliance with CMS regulations for inpatient rehabilitation, focusing on the Prospective Payment System and related quality requirements. The role involves establishing policies and processes aligned with healthcare standards to support patient-centered care. This full-time position requires nursing or therapy qualifications and experience in clinical inpatient rehabilitation.

Description

The PPS Coordinator will ensure compliance with all CMS regulations affecting inpatient rehabilitation, specifically PPS (Prospective Payment System); establish policies, practices and processes to ensure compliance with 60% rule, CMS IRF-PAI quality and technical requirements, as well as all other related documentation requirements.

Position is full time, 1.0 FTE, Day shift, Monday-Friday, core business hours, 40 hours per week; no weekends.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree - Graduate of an accredited/approved school of Nursing. All Registered Nurses without a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing must obtain a Bachelor’s Degree or higher within 3 years of hire or,
  • Bachelor's Degree - Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy.
  • 1 year - recent clinical and inpatient rehabilitation experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years' experience preferred.
