Organization Summary
The Conservation Corps of Long Beach (CCLB) is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that has helped at-risk young adults develop themselves since 1987. To date, more than 10,000 young people have participated in CCLB classes and service projects, learning new skills while contributing to the quality of life for residents of the greater Long Beach area.
Mission The primary mission of the Conservation Corps of Long Beach is to develop at-risk youth to reach their full potential through work, service, conservation, and education.Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Recycling Coordinator, the Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day direction and training of a crew of 2-14 young adults, aged 18-26 years, in a variety of work and educational activities. The Supervisor will assist the Recycling Coordinator in the oversight and coordination of Cal Recycle grant objectives.
