No prior experience required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
• Answer and direct phone calls
• Answer questions regarding the waterpark and provide accurate information to visitors and callers
• Take messages and direct calls to the proper department
• Communicate with other departments via various communication means
• Complete office tasks, including making copies, laminating, and other administrative tasks
• Receive payment by cash, credit cards, and gift cards
• Good cash-handling skills
• Maintain a clean and organized office area
• Provide superior customer service to all customers in a polite and expedient manner
• Support the the coordination of Junior Lifeguard Camp registrations
• Follow Park policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• General knowledge of office equipment: phone, copier, laminator, and shredder preferred
• Microsoft Office proficient
• Comfortable on the phone and knowledge of phone etiquette and phone systems
• Approachable, outgoing, and excited about suggestive selling
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Good listening skills
• A clear speaking voice
• Ability to count money and make change
• Ability to accept guidance and supervision
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and leadership

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
• Must be able to talk and hear, both in person and by telephone
• Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus
• Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to walk short distances frequently

We also offer a retention bonus of up to $500 for team members that average a certain number of hours per week during the qualifying time period and work through a specified date. Details about eligibility requirements for the Retention Bonus will be provided at a later date.
