Proposal Analyst – Treasury Payments (Commercial Banking)

Location: Dallas, TX (preferred) – Candidates from San Francisco, CA, Los Angeles, CA and Detroit, MI are also welcome to apply

Hybrid Role: 2d/week onsite in either Dallas, San Francisco, Los Angeles or Detroit offices

M-F, 40hr/week

Contract Duration: 6+ Months, possible extension or conversion to a direct hire

An RFP Analyst in Commercial Banking's Treasury Payments Services is responsible for supporting the sales team by creating and delivering proposals, responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and conducting research to win new business. They analyze client needs, build pricing models, and ensure seamless onboarding and implementation of treasury products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• RFP Response: Respond to RFPs for Treasury Management products and services, crafting comprehensive proposals that meet client needs.

Stakeholder Alignment: Engage treasury, procurement, legal, IT, compliance, and business units.

Scope of Services: Specify services needed (e.g., cash management, payments, fraud tools, FX, lockbox, etc.).

Timeline & Milestones: Set clear deadlines for vendor questions, submission, evaluation, and selection.

Cross-Functional Review: Treasury, finance, legal, and tech teams weigh in.

• Sales Enablement Materials: Develop and maintain RFP templates and standardized Q&A content to support the Sales team. Create clear guidance materials to streamline the RFP response process. Ensure all documentation is regularly updated and accessible via SharePoint.

• Pricing and Profitability: Understand pricing and profitability models for treasury products.

• Data Analysis: Review transactional data to identify trends, risks, and pricing inefficiencies.

• Internal Collaboration: Work closely with sales teams, operations, and other internal departments.

• Regulatory and Legal Compliance: Stay informed about industry developments and regulatory changes.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience in commercial banking, preferably with exposure to treasury/payments products.
• Experience with RFP processes and proposal development.
• Knowledge of treasury payment services: Understanding of various payment methods (ACH, wire transfers, cards, etc.) and related technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
