Job Description Cardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring
Warehouse Associates for a large, well-known client in
Defiance, OH . As a
Warehouse Associate you will be an essential part of our client's core operations, ensuring that quality product is produced, assembled, packaged, and ready for delivery to the end customer.
Cardinal Staffing Services, is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation
($17/hr) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire.
Available shifts include: All shifts will move to a 6AM to 6PM or 6PM to 6AM schedule starting new year! 1st shift Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm
2nd shift Mon-Fri 3pm-11:30pm
3rd shift Sun-Thurs 11pm-7:30am
Requirements of the Job :
- Pick, pull, and prepare orders while maintaining an organized shipping and receiving area.
- Perform cleaning and maintenance duties and report any unsafe work area conditions
- Perform basic assembling, machine operating and material handling.
- Use an RF Scanner
- Perform pre-assembly set-up and functions as required.
- Ensure product and process quality through appropriate inspection and packing process.
- Maintain efficiency and follow safety protocols at all times.
- Stack, pack, count, and label completed parts that are ready for distribution.
Required Qualifications: - Previous warehouse experience and/or training preferred.
- High attention to detail and safety/compliance.
- Demonstrate good communication skills, problem-solving skills, and sound judgement.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
