Camp Curiosity & Curiosity Academy is a family-owned and operated school located on a 50+ acre campus in Doylestown, PA , proudly serving the community since 1965.

Curiosity Academy offers Preschool through Kindergarten programs , blending classroom learning with the natural world. Curiosity Academy is seeking dedicated Early Childhood Teachers (full-time and/or part-time) to join our Preschool classrooms serving children ages 1-3 years old.

As a Preschool Teacher, you will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where our youngest learners can grow and thrive. You will support their development in language, motor skills, social-emotional growth, and early problem-solving while building strong connections with each child and family. Collaboration with our caring teaching team is at the heart of this role.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

• Create and facilitate engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences for 1–3 year olds

• Support daily routines: free play, guided activities, diapering/toileting, snacks/meals, and rest time

• Maintain a safe, nurturing classroom that encourages independence, exploration, and social interaction

• Observe and document developmental milestones; share updates with families and leadership

• Collaborate with co-teachers and leadership to maintain consistency and enrich the learning environment

• Keep the classroom organized, clean, and child-friendly, ensuring toys and materials are safe and sanitized

• Communicate warmly and effectively with families to foster trust and partnership

• Assist in other classrooms when needed

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $16.00–$19.00/hour , depending on background and experience

• Discounted childcare for staff (school year and summer camp programs)

• Experience in Early Childhood Education (2+ years preferred)

• High School Diploma; CDA or childcare-related degree preferred

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Self-motivated with strong sense of independence, responsibility, and initiative

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

• Conflict-resolution and creative problem-solving abilities

• Basic computer proficiency

• CPR and First Aid Certification (training provided, if not current)

• Fire and Water Safety Certification (training provided)

• Ability to obtain required clearances: Background Check, FBI Fingerprinting, Child Abuse Clearances, and Mandated Reporter Training
