We are hiring a Finish Grinding Operator (Level 3) in Gardena, CA

As a Finish Grinding Operator, you will:

  • Independently operate centerless grinding equipment (manual, CNC, or auto-fed)
  • Perform intermediate setups, including hand-dressing of grinding wheels
  • Read blueprints and grinding sketches to determine correct specs and tooling
  • Verify part quality using micrometers, calipers, comparators, and other gauges
  • Log all part activity, coordinate with lead/supervisor as needed
  • Follow standard operating procedures to ensure quality, safety, and productivity
  • Identify and verify all part and traveler documentation prior to grinding
  • Complete jobs with minimal supervision, following all safety guidelines

This is a full-time opportunity with the following schedule:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3–5 years of experience with centerless grinding in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with Cincinnati grinders preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and job travelers
  • Strong knowledge of inspection tools and machine operations
  • High school diploma or GED preferred

Shift: : 1st Shift: 5:00 AM or 3:30 PM start time

Location: Gardena, CA

Pay Rate*: $22–$28/hr.

* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
