Onboarding Specialist for a
12+ Months contract. Must work on our W2 Job Title: Onboarding Specialist Location: Remote - ORANGE CNTY/COSTA, CA Duration: 12+ Months contract (01/26/2026 to 01/31/2027) Must have experience working in dealerships Manager/Lead Level Onboarding Specialist Description: The services You will provide the client project team: As an Onboarding Specialist Contractor, you will facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and integration into the organization. Coordinate and manage the onboarding process, including scheduling orientation sessions and training programs. Prepare and distribute onboarding materials, such as welcome packets, employee handbooks, and training resources. Conduct orientation sessions to introduce new hires to company policies, procedures, and culture. Serve as a point of contact for new hires, addressing any questions or concerns during the onboarding process. Collaborate with HR, IT, and other departments to ensure new hires have the necessary tools and resources to start their roles effectively.

Level Required for Primary Skill: Intermediate (3-5 years experience)
Remote - Manager/Lead Level Onboarding Specialist As the Lead Onboarding Specialist, you will drive the successful deployment of digital retailing software solutions for automotive dealerships. Serving as the operational lead, you'll coordinate, facilitate, and oversee the entire implementation process-from initial planning through post-installation support. Acting as the primary point of contact, you will collaborate with dealership leaders, cross-functional teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless technology adoption. Your mission: deliver projects on time and within scope, promote enthusiastic user adoption, and help each dealership realize maximum value from new technology with minimal business disruption. This pivotal role blends project management, client facilitation, technical leadership, and change enablement.
Key Responsibilities: Project Leadership & Coordination - Direct all project phases, including assessment, planning, implementation, and post-installation support.
- Serve as the project's operational leader, ensuring all milestones are achieved on schedule and within defined parameters.
- Proactively manage timelines and deliverables, escalating risks and guiding mitigation efforts as needed.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication - Act as a trusted liaison among dealership staff, software vendors, and both Client and client teams.
- Clearly articulate project objectives, timelines, and milestones; foster strong stakeholder relationships to drive adoption and alignment.
Installation Oversight & Issue Management - Oversee technical installation and system integration (e.g., finance, inventory management, CRM), ensuring solutions meet dealership business requirements.
- Rapidly identify, troubleshoot, and escalate operational or technical issues, coordinating resources to support efficient resolution.
Training, Enablement & Support - Design and deliver engaging training experiences (in-person and virtual) that empower dealership teams to adopt new tools and best practices.
- Provide hands-on assistance throughout the onboarding process, helping users of all digital backgrounds build confidence with new systems.
Documentation & Continuous Improvement - Maintain detailed records of project implementation, custom configurations, user feedback, and key learnings to inform ongoing process improvements.
Required Qualifications: - Proven experience in software implementation, digital transformation, dealership operations, or technical customer support (strongly preferred).
- Prior experience in an automotive dealership is preferred
- Solid understanding of retail sales, automotive processes, and core IT infrastructure.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness and ability to travel to dealership locations nationwide to deliver on-site support.
- Prior team leadership experience is preferred.

Work Environment: - Primarily on-site at dealership locations, with some opportunities for remote collaboration.
- Flexibility to work outside conventional hours as necessary during go-live events or high-priority project phases to ensure project objectives are met.
