About the Role: Were looking for someone friendly, reliable, and ready to join our small but mighty team here in Marquette! As our new office assistant, you'll be the welcoming face (and voice) of Storm Insurance Agency. If you enjoy a steady-paced office job with variety, connection, and a little personalitythis could be your new happy place.
This is a great fit for someone looking for a consistent weekday schedule, a team that supports each other, and a role you can grow into. No prior insurance experience? No problem. Well provide training, and if you're not yet licensed, well help you get there after you're hired.
What You'll Be Doing: - Greeting and assisting clients in person and over the phone (we like our people to feel cared for!)
- Answering incoming calls, managing voicemails, and routing requests
- Helping with policy updates, payments, and printing things like ID cards or declarations
- Entering and updating client info in our systems (organization lovers, this is your moment)
- Supporting mailings, filing, and day-to-day office tasks
- Pitching in wherever needed to keep things running smoothly
- Keeping the office a welcoming, tidy space for everyone
What We're Looking For: - Friendly and professional communication skillswhether in person, over the phone, or via email
- Comfort juggling a few tasks at once in a calm, client-centered setting
- Strong attention to detail and a knack for keeping things organized
- A team player whos dependable, kind, and not afraid to ask questions
- Comfortable using a computer and open to learning new tools
- Bonus: Already licensed in Property & Casualty insurance
