Job description
Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
specializing in wound care to join our team. This is a full-time 5 days per week position.
You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of assigned
patients in the in-home, nursing home and assisted living settings. This position requires
the NP/PA to travel in a designated area to perform wound care.

Duties and Responsibilities:
 Manage wound care at skilled nursing and assisted living facilities
 Manage wound care in the in-home setting
 Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans
 Assess, monitor and report changes in patient symptoms
 Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding wound care
 Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
 Maintain accurate patient medical records
 Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members

Responsibilities:
 Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
 Familiarity with medical software and equipment
 Ability to build rapport with patients
 Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
 Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
 Knowledge and experience of wound and ostomy care

Education and Experience:
 Master of Science in Nursing/PA equivalent
 Must be Board Certified in TX (BOARD ELIGIBLE IS NOT ACCEPTED)
 Excellent customer service skills
Full-time position available (Monday – Friday)
Flexible work hours, NO night or weekend calls, great staff to work with!
