Turning Point, Inc. is seeking a compassionate, motivated Mental Health Practitioner (MHP) to join our dedicated team providing culturally responsive and trauma-informed mental health services. Under the supervision of licensed clinicians and the Director of Treatment Services, you will play a key role in delivering person-centered support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges. Working across both outpatient and inpatient settings, you will help clients build coping skills, improve emotional well-being, and move toward stability and recovery. This role is ideal for professionals looking to deepen their clinical experience and grow toward independent licensure.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in behavioral health, cultural competence, and a deep commitment to supporting individuals (particularly in the African American and other underserved communities) on their recovery journeys. Key qualifications and skills include:
-Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science or related field with 2,000 hours of supervised experience.
-Completion of 4,000 hours of supervised mental health service experience;
-Master’s or graduate degree in a behavioral science or related field;
-Completion or enrollment in a qualifying practicum or internship.
