Job Description

Our client in Clare MI, is seeking a Material Handler/Shipping Associate to join their team. As a Material Handler/Shipping Associate, you will be part of the production team supporting efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a proactive approach which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler/Shipping Associate

Location: Clare, MI

Pay Range: $15.50 per hour

Shift: 1st - 8 am to 4 pm
*overtime is scheduled prior to shift start time - overtime can be heavy including Saturdays.

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of forklift experience - REQUIRED
• Basic math skills.
• Valid driver's license - REQUIRED
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the English language.

What's the Job?

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Utilize the ERP system for all inventory transactions.
• Assist with maintaining inventory levels for vertical storage units (VSU).
• Receive hardware into the VSU and ensure proper placement and sequence.
• Perform cycle counts on products and materials to ensure accurate inventory levels.
