Dvora Life is looking to hire a Live-in Building Superintendent for a few luxury High Rise Buildings, in Downtown Jersey City. This position offers an apartment in the building
Job Summary:
The Building Superintendent will be responsible for supervising the building, conduct site and unit inspections, coordinate contractors/vendors, execute a preventive maintenance program and purchase materials.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Hands-on ability to maintain building mechanical systems and fire systems
- Respond to emergency calls
- Responsible for repairs and maintenance in common areas and building exteriors
- Orient and train employees to perform maintenance activities and tasks
- Maintain a high quality of workmanship by staff and service providers
- Implement preventative maintenance program
- Maintain either daily, weekly or monthly inspection logs on mechanicals’ & equipment
- Inventory control and preparing itemized lists for management’s approval and ordering of common supplies
Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent client service and interpersonal skills
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a luxury high rise building
- Strong working knowledge of building systems
- Strong verbal, written & business communication skills
- Strong management skills
- Experience with apartment renovations
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary $70,000- $80,000
