Running of Audio & Video, Lighting equipment for live events
Be enthusiastic about running & learning current and new Audio, Video and lighting equipment techniques. This is a highly technical field that changes rapidly, and we are always learning new technology.
Pulling equipment for each event, along with setting up for Load-ins and load-outs for each event. Troubleshoot technical problems Responsible for the cleaning, maintenance, repair, upkeep, and proper functioning of equipment. Perform other duties as assigned in the shop and on events in the field. Job Requirements: Valid U.S. Driver’s license Knowledge of how to roll up cables and cords correctly using the over-under techniqueKnowledge of professional audio, video, and lighting equipment operation.
Basic troubleshooting skills, basic repair skills, and the ability to crimp and solder connectors. Knowledge of Mac hardware and software is a plus Must Be able to safely climb a ladder and work at heights up to 12ft. Ability to adapt to a physically demanding role that involves lifting up to 70 lbs and standing for long periods. Schedule: This job requires availability and flexibility in scheduling for daytime, evenings, and Saturdays. Candidates must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.Generally, a 4-day work week except in the busy season.
Salary:
Pay is $17 to $26 - Negotiable depending on the A/V event experience.
