Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Looking for a detail-oriented Lifestyle Manager to identify, coordinate and market all resident programs and events to include recreational, social, travel, cultural, educational and entertainment designed to enrich the quality-of-life residents of the community.

The Lifestyle Manager is primarily responsible for planning and executing small to large scale resident and community-wide events. Responsibilities encompass event coordination from planning to execution, marketing and promotions, & vendor and contract management.
  • Supervision of other staff
  • Knowledge and understanding of the budget
  • Plan, coordinate and implement resident events and community-wide events.
  • Vendor management skills to ensure excellent vendor partnership and relationship building
  • Secure all entertainment, food, decorations and items necessary to carryout event/s
  • Social committee liaison soliciting input and involvement from residents by attending committee meetings
  • Assess overall success of event/s
  • Additional work-related tasks may be needed
Education/Work Experience Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent GED required.
  • Previous experience in an administrative capacity required.
  • Previous Event Coordinator experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both internal and external customers.
  • Maintain reliable transportation
  • Attend all mandatory company functions
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude while providing outstanding customer service.
  • Capability to work independently and complete assignments within given instructions, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in stationary position 50% of the time.
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, computer and printer.
  • Constantly positions self to maintain files in file cabinets
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
  • Frequently moves boxes weighing up to 50lbs across community for various needs
  • Works in outdoor weather conditions while onsite preparing for events
  • Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder or stairs

Pay and Benefits:

$42,000r to $45,000, depending on education and experience.
