APC / Legal Secretary (Hybrid - 3 days in-office per week) - Houston, TX

Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a highly organized and proactive Attorney Practice Coordinator (formerly Legal Secretary) to support multiple attorneys in a growing Houston office. This hybrid role offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to a leading global employment and labor law firm. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the litigation process, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This opportunity is full time and direct hire.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate attorney support across departments including calendar, billing, and resource teams
• Manage submissions and documentation for the Attorney Resource Team
• Monitor deadlines and ensure timely alerts to attorneys
• Create and maintain litigation matters in Virtual Binder
• Prepare and finalize legal documents for court and agency filings
• Handle e-filings and document management using NetDocuments
• Generate Tables of Contents and Authorities using Best Authority
• Submit New Client Matters (NCM) accurately and within firm standards
• Coordinate transcription services and document assembly
• Maintain attorney contact lists via Outlook and InterAction
• Submit daily task logs and assist with client billing reviews
• Provide front desk coverage one day per week, supporting administrative and visitor needs

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years' of experience in a legal environment
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent time management and communication abilities
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, Adobe, and document management systems
• Expertise in Best Authority, Forte, and legal terminology
• Familiarity with court rules and electronic filing procedures
• Bachelor's degree preferred
