Key Responsibilities
• Facilitate Student Success: Guide elementary, middle, and high school students through Afficient Academy’s AI-driven English curriculum, adapting support to individual learning needs.
• Provide Targeted Coaching: Address student questions, analyze performance data from the
platform, and recommend strategies to improve comprehension, writing, and critical thinking
skills.
• Collaborate with Families: Conduct regular progress updates for parents/guardians (e.g., weekly summaries, monthly meetings) and partner with account managers to align on student goals.
• Promote Engagement: Cultivate a positive, motivating classroom environment that encourages
consistent practice and independent learning habits.
Qualifications
• Expertise in English Education: Strong grasp of K-12 English standards, including grammar,
literature, and writing. Experience with SAT/ACT prep is a plus.
• Teaching Experience: 1+ years in tutoring, classroom teaching, or educational support (all grade levels considered).
• Tech-Savvy Educator: Comfort using digital tools to enhance instruction; training on our AI
platform provided.
• Relationship Builder: Skilled at connecting with students and parents through clear, empathetic
communication.
• Reliability: Demonstrated professionalism, punctuality, and commitment to student outcomes.
• Flexibility: Available to work evenings and weekends (e.g., 3–8 PM weekdays, 9 AM–5 PM Saturdays).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or related field preferred.
