Job Description
Title: Korean Translator
Duration : 2 year contract on site in Tempe and Peoria AZ
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of relevant translation and interpretation experience in English-Korean languages.
Fluency in Korean and English , both written and spoken
Proven experience as a translator or interpreter, preferably in a professional or business setting
Strong attention to detail and excellent grammar skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Cultural awareness and sensitivity to both Korean and English-speaking audiences
Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Korean Studies, or related field (preferred)
Must be an AZ Resident
Responsibilities:
Translate written and/or spoken content from Korean to English and/or English to Korean
Proofread and edit translations to ensure accuracy, grammar, and cultural appropriateness
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as architectural, electrical, mechanical or semi-conductor to ensure messaging consistency
Localize content such as websites, product descriptions, manuals, promotional materials, and corporate documents
Maintain a glossary of industry-specific terms and contribute to translation memory systems
Meet project deadlines and manage multiple translation assignments
