Inventory Control & Warehouse Specialist
Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site (Monday–Saturday)
Start Time: 4:00–5:00 AM

Responsibilities
Lead daily warehouse operations: receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping seafood/specialty products.
Manage early morning order fulfillment (Mon–Sat).
Maintain accurate inventory in QuickBooks Enterprise , Excel, Word, and cloud drive systems.
Enforce food safety standards (FIFO, temperature logs, sanitation practices).
Organize warehouse layout for product rotation and space efficiency.
Inspect inbound shipments for quality and accuracy.
Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized.
Communicate with sales, drivers, and vendors to ensure smooth execution.
Requirements
2+ years experience in food distribution or fine-dining kitchen/production (perishables).
Highly organized, able to thrive in a fast-paced, time-critical environment.
Very comfortable with computers (QuickBooks, Excel, Word, cloud drives). If not fluent with technology, do not apply.
Solid cold-chain and food-handling knowledge.
Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in walk-ins/freezers.
Clear product identification skills (species, cuts, pack sizes, U/M).
Compensation & Schedule
Pay negiotable DOE
Early-morning schedule, Monday–Saturday.
Paid Trial Shift: Final candidates complete a 2-day, 4-hour paid working interview to validate inventory and warehouse skills.
