Description

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our Canopy by Hilton at Deer Valley, a high-profile property under the Hilton franchise, self-managed by Extell Hospitality Services (EHS). This role requires a leader with strong operational, financial, and hospitality expertise, particularly in mountain resort markets, and experience managing a diverse food & beverage program within a hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations of the 180-room property, including food & beverage outlets, ensuring guest satisfaction and service excellence.
• Drive sales and marketing initiatives, focusing on digital marketing, customer acquisition, and loyalty programs.
• Manage Hilton booking platforms, loyalty programs, and ensure compliance with brand standards.
• Lead pre-opening and opening activities, establishing operational excellence from the outset.
• Oversee integration of food & beverage outlets into the hotel experience.
• Ensure operational efficiency, manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
• Cultivate a culture of excellence, innovation, and adaptability in a competitive resort environment.
• Implement effective labor management practices suitable for seasonal resort operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a General Manager in a full-service, upscale hotel, preferably resort-based.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Proven experience in high-profile, resort, or luxury properties, with knowledge of Hilton systems preferred.
• Skills in pre-opening hotel management, sales & marketing, financial oversight, and F&B operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, seasonal environment.
