Title: Freelance Sr. Graphic Designer

Comp: $35 - $40 per hour, depending on the experience

Time Line: 15 hours per week, ongoing project.

The Opportunity

We’re seeking a Senior Graphic Designer who is equal parts creative visionary and brand guardian to join the Marketing & Creative team at Renaissance Jewelry NY, a full owned subsidiary of Renaissance Global. In this role, you’ll translate iconic licensed properties—including Disney™ and Star Wars™—into refined, elevated visuals for a luxury fine jewelry audience in the US market.

Your work will span digital, e-commerce, retail, and print, from seasonal design including promotional concepts and campaign systems to website banners, email marketing, packaging, and digital advertising. You’ll play a key role in shaping how these iconic stories are expressed through premium jewelry—ensuring every touchpoint is visually compelling, brand-right, and strategically aligned to drive engagement and conversion.

This role is ideal for a conceptual thinker and hands-on designer who designs beautifully, moves quickly, collaborates effectively across teams, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with the Director of Marketing and Design Lead based in New York and collaborate with teams in both New York and Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Concepting & Brand Storytelling:

·      Develop compelling visual narratives for licensed fine jewelry collections, translating iconic brand IP into elevated, luxury-driven creative that resonates with the US consumer.

·      Lead visual concept development for seasonal launches and integrated campaigns, defining clear creative direction and campaign frameworks that scale across channels.

·      Partner closely with marketing, merchandising, and product teams to ensure creative concepts align with product strategy, brand positioning, and commercial goals.

·      Stay closely attuned to competitor activity, fashion, and cultural trends to ensure creative output remains relevant, differentiated, and commercially effective.

·      Ensure all creative concepts and executions align with Disney™ and Star Wars™ brand guidelines, maintaining brand integrity while elevating storytelling for a luxury fine jewelry audience.

Digital & E-Commerce Design:

·      Design high-impact creative for homepages, landing pages, PLPs, website banners, and e-commerce assets across DTC and retail partner sites.

·      Concept and design email marketing campaigns—from wireframes to final creative—that drive clicks, engagement, and conversion.

·      Develop digital ad creatives for paid media, social, and display channels while maintaining strict adherence to brand and licensor guidelines.

·      Ensure all digital assets are optimized for web and mobile, balancing visual impact with usability and performance.

Design Execution & Production:

·      Produce high-quality creative assets across digital, e-commerce, social, retail, and print.

·      Adapt creative concepts across formats and platforms while maintaining consistency, scalability, and premium quality.

·      Rapidly iterate on creative based on performance insights, feedback, and evolving campaign needs.

·      Work with CAD render files and STL files to translate jewelry designs into polished marketing imagery and creative executions.

·      Support light motion or animated executions (e.g., storyboards, simple motion assets, campaign extensions) in collaboration with motion specialists as needed.

·      Leverage AI-assisted creative tools to accelerate concept exploration, enhance imagery, and support efficient execution—while maintaining high standards of craft, originality, and brand integrity.

Required Qualifications:

·      7+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in luxury, fashion, jewelry, or licensed consumer products.

·      Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, or related field.

·      Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); familiarity with Figma and PowerPoint/Keynote.

·      Strong background in integrated campaign design across digital and e-commerce channels, including websites, email marketing, and digital advertising.

·      Proven ability to translate brand IP into premium, commercially successful creative.

·      Exceptional typography, layout, color theory, and visual storytelling skills.

·      Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume production environments with tight deadlines.

·      Highly detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.

·      Confident communicator and collaborator across cross-functional and global teams.

·      Experience working with CAD render files and/or collaborating closely with CAD and product teams.

Preferred Experience:

·      Demonstrated experience working with renowned or licensed brands and managing brand-centric projects.

·      Familiarity with premium jewelry or luxury fashion visual aesthetics.

·      Comfort using AI-assisted creative tools (image or video generation), or strong willingness to learn and adopt emerging tools.

·      Strong creative curiosity with a “big ideas, anything-is-possible” mindset.
