Lone Tree Modern Dental is a highly-rated family dental practice located in the South Denver area near Park Meadows. We are seeking an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join our team full-time, Mondays-Thursdays and every other Friday. We have a beautiful office and work with a great team that thrives on communication and teamwork. We are seeking an EDDA that is reliable, hard working and self-motivated. Office Hours: Monday-Friday (availability between 7am-4:30pm)

Schedule: Mondays-Thursdays and every other Friday (6:45am-1:15pm Fridays)

Rate: $25-$29/hr, plus daily bonus opportunities

Responsibilities:

• Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during dental procedures
• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Take vital signs and recording patient information accurately
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Assist with dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
• Perform dental charting and record patient information
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Maintain infection control protocols and ensure aseptic technique is followed
• Manage dental supplies inventory and order as needed
• EDDA duties-Placing fillings, fabricating temp crowns, seating crowns

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in general dentistry
• 2+ year(s) EDDA experience
• Expanded Duty Dental Assistant certification preferred
• Active CPR Certification required
• Valid Xray Certification required
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
