All Smiles Dental Group located near Powers and Bloomington, is seeking an experienced Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join our busy family practice full-time . We are a fast paced, energetic, and cohesive team led by a fantastic dentist who has been with our practice for over ten years. Our ideal EDDA will be self-motivated, reliable and eager to utilize their EDDA skills. Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-2pm, 1 Saturday per month 8am-2pm (arrival 7:45am all days)

Compensation: $24-$30/hr, plus bonus opportunities

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist chairside
• Genuinely welcome patients into the practice - make them feel at ease
• Prepare patients for treatment, ensuring the highest level of care and comfort are achieved
• A thorough review and update of the patient's health history
• Set up and break down of operatories
• Select and set up instruments, equipment, and supplies as needed for each operatory daily
• Present and enter treatment plans into Denticon
• Provide post-operative instructions
• Sterilization of instruments according to regulations
• Stock supplies, order supplies, and any additional duties as necessary
• EDDA duties-placing fillings, fabricating temp crowns and seating crowns

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of chairside dental assisting experience
• 2+ years of experience as an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant
• X-Ray Certification required
• Active CPR/BLS Certification required
• EDDA Certification is preferred
• Certified Dental Assistant preferred
• Denticon experience is a plus but is not required
