Job Title: Executive Assistant to the CEO
Location: Midtown, Manhattan (Onsite 5 days/week to start; potential for 4 days)
Compensation: $115,000–$150,000 base + discretionary bonus (dependent on experience)
Experience Required: 5+ years supporting senior executives
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced, proactive, and discreet Executive Assistant (EA) to support the CEO of a fast-paced, high-performing organization headquartered in Midtown Manhattan. The ideal candidate is not only operationally excellent but also serves as a true thought partner —someone who can anticipate needs, think strategically, and provide leverage in both day-to-day and long-term planning.
This role requires someone polished, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure, with a proven ability to manage complex schedules, prioritize competing demands, and act as a gatekeeper and trusted liaison internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Executive Support: Manage complex and dynamic calendars, coordinate meetings, travel (domestic and international), and handle all logistics with precision.
- Email & Communication: Screen and prioritize correspondence; draft and manage high-level communications on behalf of the CEO.
- Meeting Preparation & Follow-Up: Prepare briefing materials, agendas, and takeaways; ensure appropriate follow-ups are tracked and completed.
- Strategic Partnership: Serve as a sounding board and right-hand to the CEO; offer insights and context to support better decision-making.
- Project Management: Track key initiatives, deadlines, and strategic projects; ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Relationship Management: Interface with senior stakeholders, investors, clients, and internal teams on behalf of the CEO with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Confidentiality & Discretion: Handle sensitive information with the utmost care and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of EA experience , including supporting a C-level executive in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Proactive and highly organized , with the ability to think ahead, problem-solve, and pivot quickly as priorities change.
- Strong judgment, with a deep understanding of business etiquette, discretion, and diplomacy.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Tech-savvy, with strong proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and modern productivity tools.
- A high degree of emotional intelligence and the ability to build trust quickly.
- Experience in finance is a must
