About the Role:

\n\n

• Provide emergency care at\nMedical Center, a 273-bed community hospital with a 30-bed emergency\ndepartment, certified as a chest pain and stroke center.
• Annual ED Volume: 43,000\nvisits with 39 hours of daily physician coverage and 30 hours of APP coverage.
• Deliver emergency care at\nThe ER at Sweetwater, a 10-bed freestanding emergency department in North\nAugusta, Georgia.
• Annual ER Volume: 23,000\nvisits with 24 hours of physician coverage and 12 hours of APP coverage.
• Engage in hospital\ncommittees, including credentials, sepsis, peer review, and medical executive\nteams, fostering strong connections with specialists and a supportive\nadministration.
• Participate in teaching\nopportunities with APP students and internal and family medicine residents.

\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Work a flexible schedule as\nan independent contractor.

\n\n

• Compensation: $300 per hour\nfor days and $325 per hour for night.
• $75,000 sign-on bonus\navailable for full-time shift commitment.
• Collaborate closely with\ncolleagues and consultants while managing all aspects of community emergency\nmedicine.

Requirements:

\n\n

• Board-certified/eligible in\nEmergency Medicine or Family Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience.
• Authorized to work in the\nUnited States.
• Full-time commitment as an\nindependent contractor (minimum 120 hours per month).
