One of our clients in Harrisonburg, VA , needs a Education Intern Program Assistant for a Contract position.

• Position : Education Intern Program Assistant
• Location : Harrisonburg, VA
• Position Type : Internship
• Travel: On-site

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist museum staff with enrichment camps, including classroom setup and cleanup,
  material preparation, and student supervision.
• Plan and implement weekly educational programs that are hands-on, developmentally
  appropriate, and inclusive.
• Support administrative tasks such as managing class rosters and registration forms.
• Help maintain exhibit areas and ensure a welcoming environment for museum visitors.

Qualification:

• College student or recent graduate with a concentration in education or a related field.
• Experience working with children and families in educational or recreational settings.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Self-starter with a strong desire to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Interest in informal education and the role of play in child development.
