Akkodis is seeking for an DevOps Engineer position with a client located at San Francisco, CA (Onsite).
Title: DevOps Engineer
Location: San Francisco, CA (Onsite)
Pay Range: $100-105/hr. (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

3. Rancher Cluster/Configuration
Primary Job Duties:
As a DevOps Engineer, Hands-on expert in managing Rancher cluster and have good experience with Kubernetes as well.
GPv2 Rancher cluster/configuration, upgrade to newest version, and manage Rancher cluster, you will be responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment, Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration, and Security.
You will build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats.
You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively.
You will be responsible for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions.
You are expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. Advanced proficiency in Kubernetes is required. Advanced proficiency in Cloud Automation DevOps is recommended.
Additionally, advanced proficiency in Continuous Improvement Techniques, Configuration & Release Management, and DevOps is suggested.
Design and implement scalable and secure CI/CD pipelines to enhance development workflows.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve infrastructure challenges.
Continuously monitor and optimize system performance and security measures.
Lead initiatives for process improvements and automation within the development lifecycle.
Provide mentorship and guidance to team members on best practices in DevOps.
