Delivery Specialist/Long Haul Driver (Cannabis) job at Mammoth Distribution. Sacramento, CA. Overview The Delivery Specialist/Long Haul Driver is the lifeline to our customers and business partners. Happy, Hungry, & Focused customer service is an absolute must as we expect this role to assist in building upon our wonderfully established relationships with our business partners/clients. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of delivery driving experience, customer service experience, and a clean driving record. What You're Good At You are a proactive problem solver You are comfortable with technology and navigating untraveled roads You enjoy being in a company provided vehicle for 8+ hours per day You are comfortable with a flexible schedule and the opportunity to travel to territories outside your normal radius You have good judgement skills and are able to operate with discretion maintaining company confidentiality You have solid verbal and written communication skills which enable you to provide top notch customer service and connect with individuals at all levels What You've Done Minimum 1 year of delivery/long haul driving experience Minimum 2 years of customer service experience Box truck experience preferred Cannabis experience is a plus Comfortable with technology and learning new apps and systems Flexible with handling continuous change Detail oriented and able to keep meticulous records of paperwork What You'll Be Doing Make B2B deliveries daily to our valued clients in cannabis dispensaries Make procurement/ product pick ups from our business partners Long Haul route once per week on average Manage inventory for deliveries and pick-ups Handle cash when picking up payment for accounts receivable Follow internal procedures and SOP's to keep cash organized and protected Complete daily reports associated with deliveries and pick-ups Provide outstanding business partner/client service Share product knowledge with business partners/clients as directed Commit to always demonstrating our core values: Happy, Hungry, Focused, Honest Project a professional image with attire, attitude and interactions Maintain company confidentiality Collaborate with sales team to assist with supporting delivery changes, sharing product issues, communicating payment matters, etc. Take on additional responsibilities as needed Physical Requirements Able to drive a van and/or car for eight (8) - twelve (12) plus hours daily Able to lift, push, pull up to 50lbs daily Able to stoop, stretch, twist, bend, etc. Good vision and hearing Consistent, reliable, and punctual attendance for all scheduled shifts About Mammoth Mammoth Distribution has been working steadily for several years to help build the cannabis industry one relationship at a time.
