Role and Responsibilities

• Mix dried gypsum with bag plant system, utilizing small equipment such as forklift to move 1500-2000 lb. bags of gypsum.
• Perform general housekeeping/clean-up including proper cleaning of sand filters and organization of mill area as requested.
• Utilizes small equipment such as forklift, vac truck, overhead cranes in order to assist in carrying out duties in an effective and efficient manner.
• Communicate effectively with other operators, colleagues, and supervisors about assigned tasks and ensuring carryover and updates of completed tasks throughout the shift.
• Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of environmental risks and hazards as well as complies with safety policies and procedures (MSHA) and ensures daily workplace inspections are done in order to accurately identify and correct workplace hazards.
• Ensures compliance with all established policies and standard operating procedures and advises coworkers and visitors of such policies and procedures as required.
• Effectively communicate with Project Superintendents and Management.
• Maintain a high Level of Productivity, Quality, and Safety.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Valid State-Issued Driver's License Preferred
• Reliable transportation to the warehouse

Preferred Skills

• Proven ability to read, write, interpret and/or apply instructions to assigned activities
• Adhere to all OSHA and Optiline safety practices and procedures
• Lift and/or pull 75lbs., climb ladders, work off ladders, man lifts, or other equipment
